Description

Timebomb is a twitch-action game for Android and iOS. Simple-to-play an hard-to-master, Timebomb takes it's influence from games like Super Hexagon and Canabalt, and shares a not-entirely-coincidental similarity to Flappy Bird.

History

Based on an idea suggested by RVAGameJams co-founder Lauren Vincelli, Galan Montgomery created the original version of Timebomb during Ludum Dare 34, using the dual themes of "Two Button Controls" and "Growing". The game did moderately well, particularly in the Fun category, where it managed #57 out of 1231. While frustrating for some, others found it compusively playable. Realizing the game's potential as a quick-session mobile game, Galan began polishing Timebomb, and after over a year, working on and off, the game was released in May 2017.
